How to Save Pinterest Video to Camera Roll — iPhone & Android (2026)
Updated 2026 · 6 min read
Pinterest doesn't give you a direct "Save to Camera Roll" button for videos. The built-in save feature only bookmarks the pin inside the app — it doesn't actually download the file to your phone. This guide shows you exactly how to get any Pinterest video into your Camera Roll (iPhone) or gallery (Android) in under a minute, completely free.
Quick summary
Use AdvayPinSaver to download the video file, then save it to your Camera Roll using your phone's built-in share menu. Total time: under 60 seconds.
iPhone — Save to Camera Roll
iOS Safari handles downloads slightly differently from Android. Follow these steps exactly to get the video into your Photos app.
Copy the Pinterest video link
In the Pinterest app, open the video pin and tap the Share icon. Tap Copy Link.
Open AdvayPinSaver in Safari
Open Safari (not Chrome — Safari handles downloads better on iOS) and go to advaypinsaver.onrender.com.
Paste the link and tap Get
Tap the input field, paste your link, and tap Get. The video thumbnail will appear in a few seconds.
Download the video
Tap Get direct file link, wait for the countdown, then tap Download Now. The file will download to Safari's Downloads folder.
Save to Camera Roll
Tap the Downloads icon in Safari's toolbar (the arrow pointing down). Tap the file → tap the Share icon → tap Save Video. The video is now in your Camera Roll.
Android — Save to Gallery
Android is more straightforward — files download directly to your Downloads folder and can be moved to your gallery with one tap.
Copy the Pinterest video link
In the Pinterest app, tap the three-dot menu on the pin → Copy Link. Or tap Share → Copy Link.
Open AdvayPinSaver in Chrome
Open Chrome and go to advaypinsaver.onrender.com. The link may paste automatically when you tap the input field.
Paste, tap Get, then download
Paste the link, tap Get, then tap Get direct file link. After the countdown, tap Download Now.
Find and move to gallery
The MP4 file saves automatically to your Downloads folder. Open your Files app or Gallery app — on Samsung devices it usually appears in Gallery automatically. On other devices, open Files → Downloads → tap and hold the file → Move to Gallery or Pictures.
Troubleshooting — Video not showing in Camera Roll
iPhone: file downloaded but not in Photos
You need to manually save it. Go to Safari Downloads → tap the file → tap Share → Save Video. It won't appear in Photos automatically.
Android: file in Downloads but not in Gallery
Open your Files app, navigate to Downloads, tap and hold the video file, tap Move or Copy, and move it to the Pictures or DCIM folder. Your gallery will pick it up automatically.
The link expired before I could download
Download links are valid for 30 minutes. If yours expired, go back to AdvayPinSaver and paste the Pinterest link again — it takes only a few seconds to regenerate.
